Semiconductors Korea 2026 business mission focused on market intelligence and ecosystem understanding. Thanks to EU Business Hub support, Paweł Sitarz (CTO) had opportunity to exhibit our technology in one of the most impressive markets! Together with the most impressive companies from Europe, SEMIQA proudly got a big attention.

South Korea's semiconductor market remains a global powerhouse in 2026, driven by record-breaking exports that recently surpassed $173 billion due to the relentless demand for artificial intelligence hardware. The nation maintains a near-monopoly on High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) technologies, with industry leaders Samsung and SK hynix aggressively scaling production of HBM4 to power the world’s most advanced AI accelerators. To solidify this dominance, the South Korean government is fast-tracking the development of the Yongin Mega Cluster, which is set to become the world’s largest chip-making hub through massive public and private investments. Furthermore, a comprehensive $19 billion support package is currently fueling a "super-cycle" in the memory sector while simultaneously strengthening the local supply chain for essential materials and equipment. This strategic focus ensures that Korea remains the indispensable backbone of the global tech economy, effectively bridging the gap between traditional silicon manufacturing and the future of neuromorphic and AI-native computing.
