KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
System modeling and debug
Own implementation of mixed-signal, digital and analog blocks from circuit design to final sign-off
Design, build and own tools and flows for efficient physical implementation and verification
Mixed signal circuit design of different circuits related to AI development to meet block level design specifications
Analyze and optimize design for timing, power, and area trade-offs, in collaboration with EDA vendors and ASIC partners
Verification of circuit designs to ensure functional, performance and reliability targets are achieved
Participate in design reviews
Participate in silicon bring up and debug.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Very good analog circuit design and analysis skills
Experience with schematic entry and analog circuit simulation tools and methodologies
Familiarity with the impact of layout effects on circuit design
Experience with circuit floorplanning.
Experience in silicon debug, verification and characterization
Good understanding of microarchitecture, RTL design, physical design, circuit design, physical verification and timing closure.
Good familiarity tools and flows for physical synthesis, PNR, LEC and power estimation
Proven problem-solving and debugging capabilities
Good programming / scripting skills (i.e. Python, bazel, TCL)
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with AI or HPC-focused chips
Experience with Open Source tools (OpenLane/LibreLane , Cocotb, Magic VLSI, Klayout, ngspice, Xyce, Xschem, SiliconCompiler …)
Experience with developing firmware (C/C++)
Experience with RISC-V ISA and core design
Experience with FPGA and microcontrollers
